EcoLax: Saving The Planet One Greaser At A Time
Share
Entrepreneurs, Mike and Matt Kim from Washington, DC, wanted to work this Summer, but also wanted to do something lacrosse related at the same time. The Kim brothers founded EcoLax. Project EcoLax is a recycling program aimed to refurbish used lacrosse balls while simultaneously saving the planet. With the exploding popularity of lacrosse, laxers are going through tons of balls every year. Many of these balls are used for a while and then thrown away when they become slick i.e. "Greasers". The mission of EcoLax is to refurbish your unwanted Greasers and give them a new life. The Kim brothers also profess throwing away one lacrosse ball is like trashing 11 empty bottles or dumping 25 plastic bags. View a video demo below.
EcoLax will be refurbishing balls at a number of events this Summer. The Kim brothers plan to use the proceeds to recoup their investment and then fund their mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The Kim brothers will be bringing lacrosse equipment to teach underprivileged childern the sport of lacrosse. Order an EcoLax Recycling Kit today by clicking here.
