DU Men’s Lacrosse “Lax Zone” Sold Out


The University of Denver’s newest tailgating venue, the “Lax Zone” has sold out, the Department of Athletics and Recreation announced today.

Due to an extreme interest from fans and alumni alike, all available spot for DU’s newest tailgating experience have been reserved for the 2012 season. The “Lax Zone” will serve as an area for alumni, season ticket holders and parents to join in the Pioneer experience prior to face-off of every DU men’s lacrosse contest during the 2012 season.

University of Denver men’s lacrosse season, individual and group tickets for the 2012 season are still on sale. Secure your seat and take part in another historical season of DU men’s lacrosse as the Pioneers look to defend their Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship and make another trip to the NCAA Tournament.

The 2012 Pioneer home schedule features matchups against Hartford (March 3), Hobart (March 31) and Loyola (April 14), among others. The annual DU Face-Off Classic will take place on February 25-26 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, with the Pioneers headlining the classic in contests against Michigan (Feb. 25) and Robert Morris (Feb. 26).

Season tickets are available for $75. Single-game tickets are available for $9. Children, ages two and under, are free and can only sit on a lap. DU students are free with a valid Pioneer Card. Tickets for the DU Face-Off Classic are also on sale. The two-day, four-game pass must be purchased in advance and is available for $20. Face-Off Classic single-day passes (two games) are $15.
