Detroit enters the game at 2-1 overall and receiving votes in the USILA Coach's Poll after the Titans came back to down Robert Morris in overtime, 11-10. Freshman Mark Anstead led the team with six points on three goals and three assists, and sophomore Kyle Beauregard recorded his first collegiate hat trick with his third marker the game winner in the extra session.

Anstead was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, while sophomore goalie Jason Weber made 16 saves to earn his second Defensive Player of the Week award of the season.

Detroit will also look for a few "firsts" this weekend as Detroit is 0-7 all-time against nationally-ranked teams, 0-6 against Bellarmine and 0-2 versus Jesuit-rival Marquette.
