Crooked Arrows, the First Mainstream Lacrosse Movie, is Seeking EXTRAS to be Featured in the Championship Game

Crooked Arrows, the first mainstream lacrosse movie, is seeking people of all ages to be extras for a lacrosse game to be filmed on August 13th in Danvers, MA. The movie is an underdog sports story (think Mighty Ducks, Hoosiers, and Miracle) that celebrates the sport and features a Native American high school team's unlikely run to the prep school lacrosse league championship. The film stars Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Gil Birmingham (The Twilight Saga). It is sponsored by Reebok and has been endorsed by US Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse, Major League Lacrosse, National Lacrosse League, MetroLacrosse, the National Indian Gaming Association, and the Tewaaraton Committee. The film will be released next spring during the height of lacrosse season and promises to be a perennial favorite for lacrosse fans in 2012 and for generations to come.

The producers are seeking people of all ages to populate the movie's final scene, the showdown between the Crooked Arrows and their prep school rivals. The day starts at 7:00am, and major prizes including autographed memorabilia from the movie and Reebok, the movie's proud sponsor, will be given away all day, beginning at 7:30am. It does not include pay, but there will be plenty of food and drinks. Several prominent all-stars and VIPs from the lacrosse universe will be in attendance! The location is below and the details are contained in the attached flyer.
