Cornell's Rob Pannell at the ESPY's

Cornell rising-senior Rob Pannell was nominated for a 2011 ESPY in the category of Best Male College Athlete, while Virginia coach Dom Starsia was one of five nominees for an ESPY award in the category of Best Coach/Manager. Pannell fell short to basketball phenom Jimmer Fredette and Starsia was outdone by Dallas Maverick's coach Rick Carlisle. All-in-all, it was great for lacrosse to even be mentioned in the same crowd as the other attendees. Pannell tweeted throughout the ESPY's sharing his experience. The best tweet was his final one.
