Providence, R.I. - Brown sophomore long stick middy Larken Kemp (Greenwich, CT) was named the Ivy League’s Co-Player of the Week after turning in a dominating defensive performance in Brown’s 14-6 win 10th-ranked Harvard in a key Ivy League game at Stevenson Field. The win over the Crimson vaulted the undefeated Bears (5-0) into 12th place in all three national polls.

Kemp wrecked havoc with the Harvard attack, disrupting the Crimson with a school record eight caused turnovers, four ground balls and a fourth-quarter goal. In the second half against the Crimson, he was assigned Harvard’s leading first half scorer, who had five points at intermission (3 goals, 2 assists), holding him without a point in the final 30 minutes.

Kemp leads the nation with 4.00 caused turnovers per game and is 16th nationally in ground balls (6.0 per game).

Brown is back in action again on Tuesday, March 17, hosting #19 Bucknell at Stevenson Field, starting at 4 pm.
