Bitter Lacrosse and United States Army Partner at the 4th Annual Stowe Lax Festival

June 10th, 2014 – STOWE, VT – Bitter Lacrosse, one of the country’s largest youth lacrosse tournament series, teams up with the United States Army this summer to offer a unique tournament experience at the Stowe Lax Festival.

Bitter Lacrosse will be running the 4th Annual Stowe Lax Festival July 19-20 and 26-27 in Stowe, VT. This event is one stop in a national series of lacrosse tournaments in Vermont, South Carolina, and California with Midwest and Pacific Northwest events opening in 2015. The two-day tournaments provide unparalleled access to competition, entertainment and activities for hundreds of teams and thousands of players and spectators. Players range in age between 9 and 17 years old and represent girls and boys youth and high school teams from around the country.

In addition to on-site activations with the Army through simulators and team building experiences, the sponsorship campaign will include development of branded merchandise and digital media.

“The US Army is a great partner to have on board as we head into our summer tournament season,” said EW Bitter, Co-Founder, Bitter Lacrosse. “With multiple day tournaments and a lot of family spectators and aspiring lacrosse players, the Army’s exciting interactive demonstrations are a nice compliment to the ongoing competitive games. Additionally, with one of our own family members serving in the military, we are excited to foster this collaboration.”
