Billy Bitter Signs with Team EFX

Mission Viejo – April 18, 2012 – EFX Performance, Inc. is proud to announced that Billy “Benz” Bitter, three-time All-American and 2010 ACC Player of the Year at the University of North Carolina and an attackman with the Charlotte Hounds in Major League Lacrosse, is the newest addition to Team EFX. Bitter will be joining perennial great lacrosse players Paul Rabil, Max Seibald, Matt Danowski, Matt Poskay, Ned Crotty and Drew Adams on EFX’s growing list of athlete representatives.

“I have been wearing an EFX wristband since my junior year at UNC and this past summer I started wearing one on each wrist,” said Bitter. “I have noticed that the aches and pains after a game go away a lot quicker and I feel much more explosive during games. Plus, my balance has definitely improved giving me a real advantage when I am cutting to the goal. I am really excited to be joining such a prestigious list of athletes and I am looking forward to helping EFX get the word out about their game changing products.”

A native of Manhasset, N.Y., Billy garnered wide spread notoriety in high school playing at Manhasset High School, where he earned All-America honors as a senior. In college, Bitter started every game during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons at UNC and totaled 99 goals and 76 assists with 172 ground balls in 63 career games. Billy was a first-team All-America selection his sophomore and junior season and was second-team All-America selection his senior year.

“Billy is an outstanding ambassador for the game of lacrosse and the ideal person to represent our products,” said Randy Largent, CEO of EFX Performance. “We could not be more excited about having him represent our company and helping us to generate awareness for our products.”
