Brooklyn, NY---ASA College athletic director, Ken Wilcox, announced today that former King's College (PA) offensive coordinator, Shaun Church, has been hired as the school's second ever head men's lacrosse coach.

Prior to his lone season as an assistant at King's, Church was an assistant coach for a season at Eastern University where he helped guide the 2013 team to an NCAA Division III tournament berth.
Church is a 2012 graduate of Salisbury University (MD) where he played lacrosse his junior and senior years. He would help Salisbury to back-to-back NCAA Division III National Championships. Before transferring to Salisbury, Church played two seasons of junior college lacrosse at Onondaga Community College where he captained the 2009 National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship team. Between Salisbury and Onondaga, Church was a member of teams that combined for a record of 78-3 and three national championships.

"I am very excited about coming home to New York," the Hicksville High School graduate explained. "It's really a dream come true being that I have dedicated most of my life to lacrosse. I look forward to continue on building ASA into a national junior college power in lacrosse and believe we have the resources to do so with ASA being in the Mecca of the world."

Church will be acquiring a program with a 17-15 record since its start in 2012.
