NEW YORK — January 13, 2014 -- Kim Jackson, one of the top women’s lacrosse goaltenders in NCAA history, is the newest addition to the 2014 Goal Guardian National Selection Board. A native of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Kim led the University of Delaware Blue Hens to 3 National Championship Titles in 1981, 1982, and 1983. She is a two time, first team All American selection, selected to the NCAA All tournament in 1982, and a two time recipient of All-ECC honors.
Since 1983, Jackson has held the record for total saves in an NCAA tournament. Additionally, she holds 7 records at the University of Delaware: Most saves in a season (264), Most saves in a career (925), Goals Against Average in a career (6.18), Top save percentage in a season (.724) top save percentage in a career (.768), most minutes played in a season (1200), and most minutes played in a career (4200). Jackson spent 5 years on the US National Team and has been inducted into both the University Delaware Hall of Fame and the Eastern PA Hall of Fame.

Currently, Kim is the Department Chair of Health and Physical Education, for Henderson High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She has been both an educator and the head girl’s lacrosse at Henderson High School since 1986. Jackson received the High School Coach of the Year in ’93, ’96, and ’97, and her program was ranked #2 in the nation in ’98. She led the program to 3 state championships (’96, ’97, ’98) and two runner up appearances (’99, ’00). Jackson served as the chairperson for the High School All American Committee for many years and was a National U-19 World Selector in '95 and '98.
