Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing team sports in America, and the teams at Epoch and Lacrosse Playground are at the forefront of the game. Wheaties® is also committed to pushing the envelope and taking the game to new heights and that is exactly why we partnered with them for the Ocean City lax tourney this week. Epoch designed custom shafts for the team, Fit2Win has taken care of the uniforms (coming soon) and we thought a great way to cap off the kit would be custom helmet decals. We reached out to GorillaWrapz and they were able to pull off a quick turnaround in just five days! The process usually takes about 2 weeks from conception to completion. Much like the custom Epoch shafts, the wrapz resemble a Wheaties® cereal box.
Together, we are sending a team to the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic, a Maryland-based team tournament featuring some of the best lacrosse competition in the country. Each year over 100 teams, 3,000 contests, and 10,000 fans participate. Epoch has overseen the design of some phenomenal equipment, from custom lacrosse shafts to Wheaties-branded uniforms, while LPG has outfitted a select group of players to compete at Ocean City.
Wheaties is excited to take its first steps into the booming world of lacrosse, and we look forward to seeing how the sport will grow in the coming years.
