'Unofficial' Easton Product Shots

As Easton Lacrosse draws nearer to their product release date, they have hit up Verdict Photography for a few shoots and idears on how to manage their aesthetic. As a photographer / visual idea guy, it is my job to present them with a whole bunch of stuff to look at in order to determine what direction to head visually. Some stuff works, other stuff ends up on the cutting room floor. Here are some examples of some photos that, while pretty cool, got left behind in the editing process.

Easton Lacrosse, being the super cool guys that they are, have allowed Verdict Photography to release some of the images as 'unofficial' Easton product shots. The shots of the sticks actually came from a recent event where I ran off with CEO's sticks to do an impromptu product shoot on the streets of San Fran...just having fun. And big thanks to my buddy Greg Bastis (former Denver Outlaw) for sitting in as I shot him for some cover art for a recent shoot proposal I handed in...ahh, team work!

Hope you enjoy...

In 2008 former professional lacrosse player, Zach Heffner formed his own photography company so he could pursue his own unique style and brand of image making. A few years later, Verdict Photography is now a premiere commercial photography studio located in California. Specializing in commercial portraiture, Zach’s work features many elite athletes and has appeared in magazine covers and in national print ads. Zach hopes to use his ‘edgy’ style of photography to help promote the sport of lacrosse within mainstream media. Titled ‘EXPOSURE’, these blog posts will showcase Zach’s recent work and how he is helping lacrosse to get more of what it needs…exposure.
