The UAlbany club lax team sent in pictures of the full uniforms designed and produced by LacrosseWear, and a close-up of the shorts with the Great Danes scattered around the shorts, along with the UAlbany "A" emblem.
"I ordered from LacrosseWear because I went through them for my summer team and they turned out fresh, so I knew they would look great for our club team. As for the shorts, the idea came from looking around Vineyard Vines clothing apparel styles and Liquid Flow lacrosse shorts, and thought that the scattered Great Danes would look sick for the shorts. The shorts are totally different from the Varsity Level shorts which are simple, plain, one color designs. That's what makes our jerseys great, they pretty much scream club lacrosse!"
- Dave Liu, Designer of UAlbany Club Uniforms and Goalie for UAlbany Club
LPG likes the shorts a lot because they resemble an iconic staple in preppy clothes: Go To Hell Shorts or Critter Shorts. These shorts are typically cotton with embroidered patterns repeating throughout. It is a sign of confidence. Whether you appreciate this or not UAlbany is definitely making a statement on the field.
Below are the uniforms in action. The game was against Oneonta Club, which was one of two games UAlbany played this past weekend at home. They won both games improving their record to 5-2 and moving into the rank of #20.
