"The National Lacrosse Convention holds a very special place in our hearts, after all this is where it all started for us. During our first year we were so nervous to present our story and our experience with blood cancer. What we found was that while emotional, this event has always been incredibly motivating, gratifying and therapeutic for our family. We have always taken a very organic approach to growing HEADstrong and this is a wonderful change to engage supporters and share with them how together we are changing the equation for those affected by blood cancers. Just a few miles away from the convention center there are families now staying at Nick's House™ and a research team at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania who are achieving groundbreaking advancements through the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma Research Fund as the result of the games generosity to our cause." Cheryl Colleluori, HEADstrong President and Nick's Mom
