Peru Lacrosse, Lax Llama

You now have the chance to help Team Peru make it to the World Games. They have placed their gear on Ebay and are being sold to aid the development of lacrosse in Peru, each item that you buy takes Peru one step closer to expanding its lacrosse plans, and enables the less fortunate of Peru the chance to play.

Like the the logo? Shane Reed, the co-founder of LaxPeru, has the explanation:

The lax llama we have featured is one of the most symbolic animals associated with Peru. For most people in rural Peru, the llama and alpaca are key providers of income and food and are used for their wool, food, milk and tourist photo opportunity (for a small fee of course). For the same reason we have featured the llama in our branding in the hope that it will become associated with Peru, and lacrosse in Peru as a whole. I suppose it symbolizes prosperity for lacrosse in Peru, without sounding too cheesy. Plus we think it's a pretty cool design!
