Northwestern Women's Lacrosse Shows Off New Uniforms

THE CHAMPS ARE HERE...7-time National Champions, the Northwestern University Women’s Lacrosse Team, hits the field in the lightest threads in the game. Check out their new ARMOUR!

In addition to being constructed with some of the lightest, moisture- wicking fabrics on the field, the new NU unis were inspired by the very school they support. The gothic style architecture found on buildings like the Deering Library and the bricks across campus were key muses for this uniform design.

Using Armour fuse, Under Armour’s way of sublimating fabrics, gothic design lines and brick patterns are infused into the striping and numbers of the uniform. You will also notice the Northwestern Stripe detail on the socks. This stripe is a common theme on all the new NU Under Armour uniforms…after all, they are the school that started it!

The ‘Cats take on Johns Hopkins this Saturday as NU head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller goes for her 201st win. UA athlete and former NU all-star Hannah Neilson will also be on the sidelines supporting her alma mater.
