NEW YORK, March 15, 2013 — Maverik and Cascade Lacrosse are pleased to launch their latest instructional video "Shoot Around" starring Maverik Athlete and University of Virginia standout Chris Bocklet.
In the video, Bocklet shows you his approach for hiding his stick, hand placement, and several other strategies that make him one of the best shooters in the game."Mastering the fundamentals of your overhand shot is the first step in becoming a dangerous shooter. By developing these techniques you will gain an advantage over any opponent that you face," said Bocklet.
"I met Chris early in his lacrosse career and his road to the top had a fearless approach to working hard and he was never satisfied. He spent extensive time on his shooting technique which gave him a "Shooters mentality." Chris is truly a gifted scorer, one who elevates his team." Said Maverik Sports Marketing Director Paul Carcaterra.
During his time at the University of Virginia, Bocklet played in 63 games and started in 52. He had 137 goals and 28 assists, and led the Cavaliers to a National Championship in 2011. Currently residing in Colorado, Bocklet play's an integral role in representing Maverik Lacrosse at tournaments, camps and clinics in the West.
