Maverik Rome RX3 Glove Review

Maverik Rome RX3 Glove Review

This past year in the National Championship Maverik revealed the the RX3 glove and they definitely are championship caliber mitts. Best glove Maverik has made to date for sure.

Protection 10 out of 10

During our tests, we could barely feel any slashes in these gloves. Getting hacked up is never a worry and the Poron XrD that is in the thumb and backhand holds strong throughout the glove. Top of the line protection from Maverik’s top glove this year.

Movement 8.5 out of 10

The backhand of the glove has a ton of added protection that has slightly reduced the movement in these gloves. As a top end glove I grade them pretty critically and the movement is just a bit reduced compared to some other models. It’s still great, but just a little restrictive for me. The rest of our review team feels they still move well.

Palms 9 out of 10.

Axe Suede reigns supreme again here and in a different format than what you see in other gloves. The Quatro Plus Palm is a little thicker making it more durable than a lot of palms out there without reducing the feel of the glove. The palm is a little thicker so 9 out of 10.

Looks 10 out of 10

The RX3 has taken the Rome glove look from the slightly awkward cousin to just a great looking glove all around. The stock colors are awesome and the customs are ridiculous great job by Maverik.

Overall 9.2 out of 10

The Rome RX3 is the best glove Maverik has ever put out and it shows. The RX3 deserves to be a top end glove and will not disappoint in the 2016 season.
