New York, June 28, 2012 – Maverik Lacrosse today announced that Boston face-off specialist Chris Eck is the newest addition to its growing roster of elite lacrosse athlete representatives. Eck will be joining Billy Bitter, John Christmas, Peet Poillon, Jovan Miller, Joe Cinosky, Drew Adams, Dan Hardy and Kyle Sweeney as Maverik’s team of representatives crisscross the country to grow the game of lacrosse on a national scale. Eck was drafted in the fourth round of Major League Lacrosse’s 2008 collegiate draft by the Boston Cannons and was the second overall face-off man taken. Since joining the Cannons, Chris has tallied an impressive list of accomplishments including being voted the most improved player in 2009, having the second best overall face-off percentage in 2010 and dominating the face-off X in 2011 to lead the league. Chris is also a 3-time MLL All-Star and in 2011 was named an All-Pro. Collegiately, Chris had a storied career including being named an All Patriot League player three times and helping Colgate win its first ever Patriot League championship and its first ever NCAA birth.
