"Kyle Sweeney: Character Defined," is unique among lacrosse videos in that it gives fans a rare glimpse into the psyche of one of today's premier players and his daily pursuit of excellence both on the field and behind the scenes at Maverik Lacrosse.
"Jay's video really captures Kyle's unspoken work ethic and dedication to lacrosse and Maverik," said John Gagliardi, founder and President of Maverik Lacrosse. "I have always been told that character is what one does when no one is looking. Kyle’s success is certainly a testament to this.”
Sweeney is a favorite of both indoor and outdoor professional lacrosse fans. He currently plays professionally for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and is a member of the Boston Cannons in Major League Lacrosse (MLL). In 2004, 2006 and 2007, Kyle helped the now defunct Philadelphia Barrage capture the MLL championship. Most recently Kyle was named to play for Team USA at the World Championships in Manchester, England in 2010.
