On a beautiful St. Patrick’s Day, Hofstra broke out its new St. Patrick’s Day themed uniforms and wore the green with “Pride” as they pulled away in the second half, outscoring Delaware 7-0 in the final 30 minutes. Junior midfielder Adrian Sorichetti had three goals and two assists and senior goalie Andrew Gvozden added 13 saves in net as the No. 19 Hofstra Men’s Lacrosse team rolled to a 13-5 victory over No. 20 Delaware in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) opener for both teams on Saturday afternoon.
