Gait and Debeer Lacrosse Partner with TheLocker to Offer College Scholarships

QUINCY, MASS. (Jan. 29, 2015) – Gait and deBeer Lacrosse team up with TheLocker, an athlete-focused social commerce platform, to offer the Coaching is Leadership scholarship and give $1,000 to a male and female high school senior lacrosse player at the end of the 2015 lacrosse season.

"We're proud to partner with TheLocker in recognizing the incredible lacrosse coaches across the country who have positively impacted the lives of their student athletes," said Ryan Harrington, Business Director for Gait and deBeer Lacrosse. "The Coaching is Leadership scholarship is a tremendous opportunity for high school seniors to earn money towards college while recognizing their coach for the dedication and positive role model they provided."

Scholarships will be awarded to those who have been motivated by their coach to succeed in life by inspiring members of their team through leadership skills as well as positively impact the local community.

High school seniors have until May 30 to submit up to a 500 word essay for a chance to be awarded the Coaching is Leadership scholarship at thelockerscholarship.com.
