Today we are taking a closer look at Fairleigh Dickinson's lids for 2012. These helmets have an interesting story. The helmets were actually a result of a mistake and a little creativity. The Mohawk stripe was actually suppose to be Maroon with a White outline. The dealer however, sent FDU Navy stripes for their Navy helmets. The Devils decided to put them on one helmet to see how it looked and the captains said, "lets just go with it." It turns out to be a pretty cool look. FDU debuted the Pro7 helmets in a win over SUNY Maritime last week.
