ECAC Announces Strategic Partnership with Under Armour

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), Nelligan Sports Marketing (NSM) and Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE:UA) announced today that the Baltimore-based leader in performance apparel, footwear and accessories will become the official outfitter of the ECAC.

The multi-year agreement gives Under Armour the right to provide game and training gear to ECAC teams and makes them a presenting sponsor of ECAC Championships. The ECAC hosts over 80 annual championships with over 122,000 student-athletes who participate in them. Under Armour will also outfit members of the ECAC staff.

"This strategic partnership and a collaborative approach with Under Armour will enhance the wide-range of services the ECAC provides to its members. The new official outfitter agreement includes marketing entitlements that will complement the brand's marketing campaigns through print and on-field presence at ECAC Championships and special events.

Under Armour products are sold worldwide and worn by athletes at all levels, from youth to professional, on playing fields around the globe. Other Under Armour collegiate affiliated partners include Auburn, Boston College, Colorado State, Hawaii, Maryland, St. John’s, South Carolina, South Florida, Texas Tech, and Utah.
