Colorado Mesa, formerly known as Mesa State, feels very fortunate to have signed a 2-year extension to our Maverik sponsorship this Fall. Maverik has done a solid job equipping them with one-of-a-kind gear starting last year with snake skin Maybachs and continuing this year with mostly Gold gloves and all Gold elbow pads.
When asked about the rebranding of the school and program Head Men's Lacrosse coach, A.J. Stevens, elaborates:
Our university added Colorado to our name to identify our location and help recruit as a national rather than regional institution. When we rebranded we also chose to return to our school colors from several decades ago of Cardinal & Gold. I would like to thank all the guys at Maverik for remaining a customer friendly company that cares about the future of our sport.
The Empire is a technically advanced glove from Maverik. It features an ergonomic, articulated backhand with a comfort membrane liner as well as a C-Grip seamless palm with Shark gel surrounding the glove for protection.
