Since 2008 LEAPS has taught 15,000 kids and counting the sport in Philly, Wilmington, and Camden. LEAPS helped start the Philly Public High School League and Philly Middle Grades League, and the growth continues. This spring 2013, Roxborough, Frankford and West Philly High Schools will all start teams. LEAPS Lax has also partnered with the Salvation Army Kroc Center to facilitate lacrosse camps and a lacrosse club for inner city youth!
"Chestnut Hill College is proud to host the 3rd Annual LEAPS Charity event. As a college located in the city limits of Philadelphia we recognize what a great job LEAPS is doing to promote the great sport of lacrosse to boys and girls living in the city." Brian Dougherty, Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at CHC.
"Partnering with Boathouse Sports and Coach Dougherty at Chestnut College is an honor. I look forward to continuing to help grow the game in Philadelphia." Eric Gregg, Founder and Executive Director of LEAPS.
The LEAPS lacrosse uniforms (polka dot) were produced by Boathouse. The lower back of the pinnie displays the LEAPS Twitter handle, @LEAPSlax. View last years Boathouse Lacrosse Uniforms.
