Baltimore, Md. (June 9, 2015) - Under Armour®, Inc. (NYSE: UA) and Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced today the roster of boys who will represent the New Jersey region at the 2015 Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament. The sport’s most prestigious underclassmen tournament will feature girls and boys teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate New York, Washington, D.C., and West and consist of players from the graduating classes of 2016-18.

The event will take place July 3-5 at Johnny Unitas Stadium on the campus of Towson University in Towson, MD. Over the three days, the teams will battle in a 10-team pool play tournament. The weekend is capped off on Sunday afternoon with championships for both the boys and girls regional teams.

The Underclass Tournament is part of the Under Armour All-America weekend, which features 88 of the nation’s best high school senior boys and girls facing off July 3rd at Towson’s Johnny Unitas Stadium.

COACHING STAFF: Head coach Tim Roy; assistant coaches Kerry Weigner, Carl Houser and Tom Prior.

PLAYERS WHO IMPRESSED AT TRYOUTS: Owen Colwell (Defense/2016/Westfield/Westfield; committed to Johns Hopkins University): Owen showed range and athleticism playing close and LSM. His strong physical presence makes him a tough on ball defenseman. Russell Masci (Mid-field/2016/Don Bosco Prep/Montgomery, NY; committed to the University of Maryland): A big strong, athletic alley dodger who had a hard shot. His size makes him a mismatch. He was able to use speed to get to good areas on the field and had the skill to finish. Connor Kirst (Mid-field/ Delbarton School/Bernardsville, NJ; committed to Villanova): One of the returning players from last year’s roster and was one of the most well balanced players at tryouts. He is a strong defensive midfielder who can also transition well.
