Last week the LPG readers voted on which glove mockup the Italian team should go with (View Results). Today LPG has the images of apparel and uniforms for Italia. When it came time to design their apparel and gear they decided to go with local companies in Western New York. The apparel was designed by Italian midfielder, Timothy Dickinson, and Gear Up Sports, who will also be making custom GlideSS for Team Italy to wear at the World Cup. Their equipment was designed by Joe Smith (recently signed by Chicago in the MLL) at Atlantic Sportswear, who resides in Orchard Park. Below are custom hoodies, warm-ups, and jerseys for the upcoming World Games.
" It was nice to see companies involved with lacrosse in the community help out and lend a hand to get the team started, says Italian player Timothy Dickinson. "The majority of the players reside in Italy so it made the process a little challenging but hopefully we'll see some excitement build with this apparel which will make it worth it."
